Trip to Redang Island - Part 2

So what do you do when you are on the island? Well besides relaxing by the beach and slurping a cold drink, you snorkel and enjoy the beautiful world under the sea.

All you need is the snorkeling gear which consist of the goggles and mouthpiece. The life jacket is compulsory even for those who know how to swim. Safety comes first and when you are out in the ocean, it is better to be safe than sorry.

Everyone will need to attend the safety briefing to understand how to properly use the goggles, mouthpiece and put on the life jacket properly. One thing for sure is if you do not put on the goggles properly, you will be drinking quite a bit of salt water!

And once you have buckled up, it's time to head to the boat to race out to the deep sea for the snorkeling activity. The boat can fit in around 45 passengers and everyone has to have their life jacket on.

The view under the sea is really a beautiful sight and it is something that you have never experienced before for the first timers. Imagine lying on the surface of the water and then looking at the sea bed where all the corals and fishes swim around.

This is definitely an unforgettable experience to be able to view the beautiful corals and fishes while enjoying a swim around the ocean. You should not apply too much sun block as it is harmful for the fishes and corals. Basically when you go outdoors for a long period of time, you will get a free tan and that's for sure!
